 About us.Heatherton Park is located SE of Melbourne CBD central business district about 45 minutes from Melbourne in Cranbourne South. Heatherton Park has been running for 30 years as a race horse agistment property for 65 horses as well as buying, selling and training dressage horses where we bought top quality yearlings and had 25 horses is training. We place great emphasis on temperament and trainability which shows up later in their career and using the best local and overseas bloodlines. Emmie is an ambitious and determined rider with a love for training young horses, who has made it her business to produce exciting young dressage horses, coach riders and improve her skills as a grand prix rider. We have a training and sales service strategically laid out to assist clients purchasing horses in order that the pass over stage is as smooth as possible. When we buy horses we actually buy them for Emmie to ride and compete and when I train them they either stay with us or we sell them on. We enjoy the whole process of bringing on young horses Clients who purchase horses from Heatherton Park have the opportunity to continue to keep their new horse at our property for guidance to ensure that they are confidant with riding a young horse. Ricky MacMillan is Emmie's most influential trainer but she draws very much from Lone Joergensen who visit's Australia on a regular basis.
